  • Need to Quickly Crop or Resize a Photo?

There are many times times when the photo on your computer is too large for your needs, either in physical dimensions or file size. Or you may have made a screenshot and want to crop out the tabs or address bar of your browser. While I have an expensive Photo Shop on my desktop, I do most of my posting on a tablet Microsoft Surface Pro 3) while watching a Football game, the Astros or the Rockets. I don't have a decent photo editing program on the tablet, but there are many free online sites where you can do that. The one I Like best is

It is safe, doesn't require you giving an email address to mail you the adjusted image, doesn't throw any popups at you, is easy to use, and does everything I need it to do.

Just thought I'd pass this information along. If you have any questions about this, post them here and I try to help.

My image posting solution was to go to Southern Star Hosting, to register the domain of for less than $10, and hosting for less than $5 a month. I then installed the Free Application Zen Photo with one click from my Control Panel. I have tens of thousands of my photo digitized, which in time I'll upload there to preserve from disaster, and access from anywhere. In the meantime it makes for a great place to host my forum photos - plus I can still install 24 more free applications on that site if I cared to.
