Talked to the guys at Monster Performance Center at the Drag Expo show last weekend. They said Tim Ringer, US 41 owner, no longer with them. They had no information on Tim or US 41.
Not much activity on the US 41 facebook site, is Tim and US 41 still in business for 2016 ?

Just a friendly reminder we are about a month away from the first event! I've been impressed with the work US41 Motorplex has been doing in the offseason. They purchased track lights from the now closed Balmoral horse race track and installed them throughout the top end. They've re-done the tower and staging lanes. It should be a great place to race this year!

As far as I know it is accurate. Our group is run separately and hosted by the track, which is why they don't list the entry fee with it. Much like the E85 guys and MSSM.

The track has made a small pricing adjustment as follows:

A $20 entry fee to the track covers the truck and trailer and all persons inside. $50 entry fee with your tech card to enter the event. All spectator admission is $20 a car load. Bring all your friends and family in the vista cruiser and everyone gets in for 20 bucks! You may also participate in open time trial runs separately after being eliminated from the event, or come back up with the group and run behind the cars still in eliminations with a staggered index tree. Grudge race your friend or foe or just run extra test laps and still be able to enjoy your day even if you lost!

                    Saturday Sept. 17 race 4.
Suggestion, run race 4 and the August 13 rainout race 3 both on Saturday. Most won,t come back for Sunday as stated previously.
Split the purse between race 3 and 4, or full purse race 4 and a gamblers fee for makeup race.
Collect points fund for both races 3 and 4 Saturday, enter one or both. Once there, most will enter both.
Then wrap up the series in October with all five races completed.
If to late to do this Sat, then run makeup race at Oct final.
NSS historically is quick to run, two races with the car count we,ve had is doable in one day.
The track would have a full day off NSS to promote for fans arriving at different times.
Vintage NSS racers, whats your thoughts on this, Thanks Bob

Unfortunately I received word from the track that because of the upcoming rain for Thurs, Fri, and Saturday morning, they have already cancelled all Saturday on track activity. The Saturday event will not be run and Sunday is the only date available. The track did offer to anyone that runs in our group that comes to the track will have free entry for test and tune the remainder of the year. I know for those travelling in that doesn't mean much as a consolation. I apologize on behalf of them but commend them for at least getting the word out now in case that might change anyones plans that were coming in from a distance.

For those that run the full series, this means that the August event will be again cancelled. I do not know if it will be possibly made up during the October race weekend yet or not. That was a good suggestion Bob.

After talking with the track owner today, the October race will be run on Saturday as scheduled or Sunday if needed.
