This is the conversation to discuss all things before, during and after the NMCA race at Atlanta Dragway.

Deb and I (with Smith & Wesson) will leave Tuesday at noon to get to Atlanta, TX, and the finish the drive Wednesday.
Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia, will be the host of the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, the second stop on the NMCA schedule. The facility is located in the perfect place, with close-by hotels and restaurants, and the track surface always hooks. Named 'Georgia's House of Speed', the Atlanta Dragway staff takes pride in making their facility live up to its name, and the NMCA's racers look for that consistency on the racetrack as a result. The NMRA/NMCA All-Stars event features special All-Star classes, including the Street Outlaw, Sealed Crate Engine, and Open Comp Shootouts, and hosts the season opener of the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series. Got two hits yesterday for $25 (no test hits after yesterday - right to Qualifying without a Time Trial). First hit without weight was 9.48

We were suppose to get one Time Trial and two Qualifying today; then tomorrow the third qualifying and 1st elimination. The track was suppose to go hot ar 8am, but rain and timing in the right lane had first cars go down at 5pm and NSS at 6pm.

No idea what to expect from schedule tomorrow, especially with bracket racers here tomorrow and Sunday, which is also suppose to rain. Man I swear rollout on right lane is also screwed. I red lit in it twice an this last time I saw the bottom Yellow extra long.

I was first down track, in right lane. I turned hard right when I launched. I thought I spun but when I looked at slip I looked ok. However everyone in right lane says they're off from spinning. Jim Bailey (who staged Duell) says there was a big bald spot that I was in

I'm going out on a limb to predict that we won't be racing at the scheduled 8:45.

However, it looks like we'll get this one in once the track is dry.
