  • Live From Bradenton 2019

This is the official thread of all things before, during and after this event.

Remember, if your truck/motorhome and trailer is
    • Has a gross weight over 21,000 pounds
    • Has a trailer with an overall (including tongue) of 28' or greater
    • Has an overall length of greater than 55'
You need a permit from FLDOT, which will cost you $20 a year. Being stopped without it is a $3000 fine
You can apply on-line - but do it now as it takes 7-10 days to get the Golden Rod permit that you have to carry. No temporary permit.

Also remember that while you may not have to stop at the scales (depending who you talk to), ALL TRAILERS HAVE TO STOP AT THE AG INSPECTION pull off. They usually wave you through, but sometimes ask what's in the trailer. They're looking for animal and plants. $300 fine if they chase you down for bypassing.

So who all will be going?

Deb, I, Smith & Wesson will be coming with the Thug.
