Rusty, chrome plated, Stamped Steel Dana cover was replaced with reinforced cast aluminum. Good thing as only about of quart of heavy weight came out. Gears looked good and added three quarts of 85/140. Also replaced the fuel filter element.

There has been a thud coming from under the passenger floor pan on launch, and when lifting after burnout or top of track. Suspect the headers and suspension were coming in contact. A little heat and a ball-pean hammer made the proper adjustment.

Since I bought the car, my oil gauge has been under the dash and I've not had a Volt gauge. I ordered a Volt gauge and a pod yesterday at about 2:30 from Summit Pro Shop, and was shocked that t arrived at 10:30 this morning. The oil pressure gauge was moved up to cowl and the Volt gauge filled its space under the dash.

She just needs to get washed up, loaded up, and we'll be on the road a 5am next Wednesday morning - and hopefully in staging area by midnight.

Coming up 85 from Montgomery, what ls the best loop option around Atlanta this year to avoid as much construction and traffic? Come around the northwest side or the Southeast?

Todays race report. sit in Coach until rain stops (4pm) plus two hours to dry and prep, then third qualifying and first round under the lights. i'm betting that they will reconsider third qualifying and go right to eliminations.

The forecast is looking a little iffy for today, but rest assured all the NMRA/NMCA racing officials will be working quickly to dry and prep the track for final Qualifying and Eliminations all afternoon and evening... including Saturday Night Under the Lights! Have no fear, Chase Driskell is here offering up his patented "fluff & buff" services for James Lawrence and his DragZine.com-backed ProCharged "Project BlownZ06" drag radial '17 Corvette. Lawrence is currently qualified third in NMCA Mickey Thompson Radial Wars thanks to his Pro Line Racing power and a 3.926 at 190.35 mph hit during yesterday's qualifying session.

The worst kept secret from 5-o’clock until 8-o’clock was that we’d get called to the lanes while it was sprinkling, get pair up, then sent Back to put everything away in the rain. We weren’t disappointed!

E1 now at 9am. Means get up at 7 to set pit up and get car out in cold (30s) and get called to lanes at 8:30.
