I put Thug's motor on stand so it can be checked as it was the last motor Indy rebuilt and I'm not trusting any motor they built.
Traced motor plate as it is pretty pitted and corroded, and I'll need to make a new one and change the next time I pull engine.
Cleaned corrosion off and buffed plate for its last use and mounted on engine so sealant can cure before stabbing motor in tomorrow. Got everything set up to stab in. Made room for Whale, although it is still in trailer - and set everything up to quickly yank out.
I'm paying my bud who works for me Wednesdays to also work tomorrow. We'll stab in motor in Vitamin C, yank motor out of Whale, and disassemble both motors to figure out what's needed to build one.
